About the book |
| This book is first of its kind which discusses condensed phase chemistry of composite solid propellants in detail-vital for understanding the key phenomena like burning rate modulation, ageing, extinction, intermittent and plateau burning, etc. Besides, it describes the subtle role of binders, oxidizers and catalysts. Latest developments in high-energy binders and oxidizers have also been presented. This book is helpful not only in assessing the progress made in composite solid propellants but also in. understanding the key phenomena in an organised fashion. It is hoped that this book will promote excellence in research and teaching in composite solid propellants.
