About the book

An attempt has been made to write a book which clears the fundamental concepts on microwaves. It lays emphasis on Transmission Lines, Scattering Matrix and Network Modelling. Smith Chart and its application in microwave circuits is also discussed. Attempt has been made to describe the essential features of Computer Aided Design (CAD) of microwave circuits. Some packages of CAD are explained. Attempt has been to describe the fundamental concepts to obtain useful results. Elements of Electronic Warfare is also presented in the book. The book is useful for higher level students of microwave engineering who can apply these concepts for actual design.
